In whatever we do, it is so important to find your community.  Actually, to build your own community.  Whether it is tapping into entities in your town or city, networking with friends or friends of friends, or finding other mentors and resources to draw from, building a community of support is essential to success.

Your community can be made up of people who offer varying levels of support.  Some people can be people who offer advice or referrals, some can provide answers to fundamental questions from a place of expertise, some can be people who know you well enough to give honest and direct feedback. All of these types of resources are essential to feeling knowledgeable, connected, and on track.  A community is also always in flux so keep finding the right make-up of people to support you in your endeavor.  Be open to meeting new people to add to your community and take advantage of resources that are available to you.  Entrepreneurs often feel isolated, and it is up to us to be open to the support around us and to create our own community.
