Creating and running a business is a marathon that has no end, there literally is no finish line. We need to celebrate the small moments and little victories as those are the things that keep us energized and motivated. If we don't note those moments, we can get run down and burnt out and perhaps focus too much on the frustrations and challenges. If instead, we celebrate the "wins" while also working through challenges we can have a more optimistic and positive framework to work from. This is always a healthier and more productive way to flourish.
When Daymond John highlighted this quote it was a big moment for me for many reasons. First, Daymond found something I said insightful enough to post it on his social media channels which was extremely flattering. Second, it reminded me of the importance of this quote because it is so true and it is something that we all need to be reminded of throughout our time as an entrepreneur.
